Located in the former Gare Maritime Transatlantique, La Cité de la Mer is the top Normandy tourist site dedicated to man’s adventures at sea and the depth of emotions that come with them.
Visit three floors of spectacular multimedia spaces and dazzling aquariums, and enjoy a number of unique exhibits.
Relive the last hours of the Titanic and soak up the atmosphere onboard, step inside le Redoutable, the largest visitable submarine in the world, and discover the Ocean of the Future and explore the last wilderness on the planet.
The Cité de la Mer was voted France’s favorite monument in September 2022. In country with the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, and The Palace of Versailles, that’s really saying something!
