About

Visit the Oceanário de Lisboa to explore the underwater world. Discover 8,000 sea creatures from 500 species.

The permanent exhibition features a central 5-million-liter saltwater aquarium, surrounded by habitats from the North Atlantic, Antarctic, Temperate Pacific, and Tropical Indian Ocean. It creates the effect of one continuous ocean.

Your visit covers two levels: terrestrial and underwater, showing different ocean climates such as temperate, tropical, and cold waters.

See the Forests Underwater by Takashi Amano, showcasing tropical forests in the largest nature aquarium, and explore the Submerged Universe exhibition for an immersive ocean experience.
